Meet AMANDA

A little about me

Health and wellness has been a priority in my life for the past five years! I changed my lifestyle in 2020 because I felt a needed shift in my own personal life, and I'm so glad I did because it brought me to where I am today. I started taking a more thoughtful approach on what I put into my body and what nourishes me. I started working out with a personal trainer to get more comfortable in a gym setting and seeing a dietitian to learn what exactly my body needed to thrive. Over the years, I've found that different types of workouts and fitness styles have helped me get creative when I felt unmotivated to go to the gym, like yoga, barre, pilates, boxing, HIIT classes, and running.

I started thinking about becoming a pilates instructor about a year ago because I didn’t see a lot of instructors with different body types and I think it is so important for the community to see all types of shapes and sizes of instructors in the fitness world. Community is such a big deal to me and serving others is my biggest passion. I truly love developing others to see themselves in a brighter light and I can’t wait to help women recognize each small improvement in who they are becoming with all the Bend girls I will get to meet! I can’t wait to bring more smiles to all the girls who want to get a workout in and help them care for their bodies!

I am so excited to live out this dream of helping women care for themselves!

My mantra

Move your body because you get to not because you have to! We shouldn’t look at movement as a negative thing or as a punishment. Moving our bodies is a beautiful thing we get to do to help us feel better in our everyday life! Finding what kind of physical movement works for you and integrating what you enjoy into your life is the main priority :)

How do you hope clients feel when they leave your class?

I hope clients feel loved on and cared for when they leave my class! My goal is to bring confidence to every person that comes into my class.
