A little about me

Betsy Childers, M.Ed., RYT-200

Betsy graduated from the Yovana Yoga 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program in 2024 and has since accumulated over 100 hours of teaching experience, along with a yin yoga certification. She loves sharing her passion for yoga and guiding students toward strength, balance, and ease—both on and off the mat.

Her journey into yoga began following a major snow-skiing accident, where she experienced firsthand the powerful role yoga can play in healing the body and calming the mind. That personal transformation deeply informs her teaching style, which emphasizes accessibility, thoughtful pacing, and a nurturing, supportive environment.

With 24 years in education, Betsy has taught students from Pre-K through fourth grade and is dedicated to fostering a lifelong love of learning. She has long incorporated yoga and mindfulness into the classroom and brings that same patience, encouragement, and joy into her yoga classes. In addition, Betsy has judged GHSA cheerleading for over 26 years, blending her love of education, movement, and athletics.

Outside the studio, Betsy is happily married to her husband, Aaron. Together, they enjoy traveling, hiking, fly fishing, kayaking, attending Braves games, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, and soaking up live music. Montana holds a special place in their hearts, and they hope to retire there one day. Until then, they are settling into life in Tunnel Hill, where they are building their new home.

Join Betsy in class to explore the life-changing benefits of yoga and begin your own journey toward strength, balance, and well-being.
